The Meridian Club Resort Staff

The two-mile long, unblemished white sand beach has been named one of the Caribbean’s best numerous times over. The crystalline waters are incomparable, and our friendly resort staff will leave you with equally indelible memories of your stay at our all-inclusive Turks & Caicos resort.

Resort Management Team

Debbie Keller is the resort manager on our private island getaway. She brings her international hospitality experience to Pine Cay, and will go out of her way to make your stay a memorable one.

Duke Delancy is our Assistant Island Manager and head of the maintenance department. He, more than anyone, is responsible for keeping island operations running smoothly. Duke has been with The Meridian Club since 1975. Soft spoken, intelligent and eminently capable, we could not ask for a better employee.
Dining & Bar
As sunset approaches, Floyd Forbes, our Head Bartender, will serve you cocktails in the upstairs bar and lounge. He is in his fourth decade of service with The Meridian Club and can answer almost any question you may have about the history of Pine Cay and the Club. Lewis (“Bang Bang”) Missick, our other veteran bartender, will keep you laughing throughout your stay.
The Bistro’s Maitre D’, Wesley Handfield, ensures that each meal is a perfect experience. Each morning, he and waiter, Mark Anthony Alexander write up the menu for the day and can answer any questions you may have about the selections. Guests who have success on a fishing trip can also ask to have the chef specially prepare their catch for dinner, time permitting.
The most popular lady on the island is Sara Spudowski, Executive Chef. Once you’ve tasted the inspired menus, fresh flavors and delectable desserts at The Bistro, they will stay in your memories for years to come. Preparation for the day’s culinary delights begins before the sun rises and Sara and sous chef, Carrington (“Scrape”) Simmons as well as Jason Titze who hails from Nebraska, reign in the kitchen until the last dessert is served after dinner.  Michael Gray and Fitzerald “Fritz” Louis round off the team of players in our first rate kitchen staff.

Guest Services

Avianne Adolph, Carnetta Forbes and Melissa Jennings are the stellar members of our Reservations and Guest Services team. They have a wealth of local knowledge in addition to their gracious hospitality.

Snorkeling, Fishing & Exploring

Each morning, weather permitting, guests enjoy taking our complimentary snorkeling trip to the colorful offshore reef teeming with fish and other sea life. Raymond Campbell, the head of our marine department and another three-decade employee, will greet you at the dock and either he or one of his team will captain the ship on the short trip to the reef. He also arranges glow-worm outings and other adventures at sea.

If you love to fish, you must meet J.R. Delancy, our veteran Fishing Guide. J.R.’s knowledge of the waters surrounding the islands is unequalled and he handles all of our bonefishing, reef fishing and deep sea fishing charters. Fishing charters can be arranged at the front desk.

When he is not focused on maintaining the resort grounds in exquisite condition, leave it to Sherwyn DrePaul to get you acquainted with the speedy Hobie Cat with a complimentary and immensely exhilarating lesson. A terrific way to experience the breathtaking beauty of Pine Cay from a whole new perspective.

Security

Safety has never been a concern on Pine Cay, and John Patrick, Jaime Encallado and Melecio “Mel” Ansong make sure everyone feels secure along with their K-9 staff Kilo, and Roscoe.

Housekeeping

Vanderlean Taylor, “Lean” for short, is the head of our housekeeping department. If you need anything for your room, ask Lean. If she doesn’t have it, she can usually get it.
