Executive Chef Sara Spudowski
The Meridian Club, Turks & Caicos is proud to introduce Sara Spudowski as our Executive Chef. If you have been here before, the name and face will look familiar. In the past years, she has been making your stay on Pine Cay a touch sweeter with her irresistible desserts as Pastry Chef.
Sara is a graduate of the New England Culinary Institute where she was trained in all areas of the kitchen. Honing her skills in Toronto, Vermont, Hawaii, California and Alaska, a high demand in pastry led her to specialize for over 8 years in this area. She has a real passion for baking and creating excellent pastries and desserts. She starts baking before the sun rises and you can find her in the kitchen until the last dessert is served after dinner.
Chef Spudowski is excited to return to the savoury side of things. Guests love her fresh and creative approach to food here at the Meridian Club. She is known for her ability to easily adapt in remote locations, and you do not get much more remote than Pine Cay!
When out of the kitchen, you can find her kayaking in the aquarium, snorkeling for sand dollars or paddle boarding in the channel looking for star fish. She has fully embraced the Pine Cay lifestyle!
